EUS privacy information

Account and marketplace information

EUS.life uses your account name, email and protected password credentials to provide access. Listings deliberately publish the description, city, country, price and photographs you supply. Exact rental addresses, pickup locations and host contact details are excluded from public listing responses and are shared with the approved guest and host.

Private document vault

Uploaded immigration documents are encrypted in storage using an application-held encryption key. Downloads require an authenticated account and an authorised document relationship. The owner can access their documents. A verified, assigned platform lawyer can access only documents selected for a case that the client has authorised. Administration can route cases and manage professional access but the normal admin interface has no general document-download permission. Infrastructure administrators remain responsible for securing the server and encryption key.

Sharing with a lawyer

When you choose a lawyer and authorise a case, EUS provides that professional with the selected files, case summary, history and private conversation. Assigning or replacing a lawyer does not automatically authorise document access; the client must confirm sharing with the named professional. Withdrawing authorisation, moving a file to trash or revoking professional verification prevents future authorised downloads through EUS. It cannot remove copies already downloaded by a professional.

Payments and service messages

Stripe processes hosted checkout, recurring membership, billing management and provider onboarding. Financial details entered into Stripe are handled by Stripe; EUS stores customer and transaction references, subscription status and the amounts needed for its records. Private service conversations and cases are available to the relevant participants and support administration as described in the service flow.

Retention and your controls

Active files remain in your vault until you move them to trash or erase them. Moving a document to trash removes its case-sharing links. Restoring it does not silently restore lawyer access. Permanent deletion removes the active encrypted file and document record. Existing backups and records required for accounting, legal obligations or security may need separate retention management. Contact hello@eus.life for access, correction, deletion or a privacy request.

Security and cookies

EUS uses a session cookie for sign-in and local browser storage for your chosen language. Private document responses are not cached and downloads are recorded for accountability. Uploaded rental images are processed to remove embedded metadata. Necessary infrastructure and selected external services have their own data handling; EUS does not promise that account controls prevent every possible misuse by a recipient.

Contact

For privacy or document-sharing questions, contact hello@eus.life. Provide enough information to identify your account, and avoid emailing identity document scans unless support gives you a suitable secure process.
